Natural Language Technologies

The Natural Language group at KBCS division has several years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Translation (MT) and Information Retrieval (IR). We are keen to explore various avenues of collaboration with industry as well as academia and research institutes in these areas, building on our mutual strengths. The areas of co-operation could include the following:

  • Specialized courses on NL technology and its various application areas.
  • Joint research and/or development projects in focus areas, particularly Information Extraction, NL interfaces and NLP/IR in Indian languages.
  • Licensing/transfer of technology developed, possibly with enhancements.
