Programme Details
Overview of the programme
Spread over three days, the event will have an inaugural session, technical sessions, a panel discussion, and a workshop. The seminar will be conducted in the mode of intense discussions centered on invited and focused talks/presentations. There will be a practical session for getting familiar with usage of BOSS and hands-on-sessions on the Creation of Contents (documents/websites) in Indian Languages. The event will be enriched by the experiences of various Centres of C-DAC (Pune, Mumbai, Chenai, Kolkatta, Delhi, Noida), Ministry of IT, Govt of India, Govt of Orissa ,Orissa Computer Application Centre (OCAC), Bhubaneswar and also some scholars and key persons mostly from Orissa in the the academicia.

Objective: To prepare an action plan for Oriya
Who should participate:
Those who are passionate about Oriya language and are willing to work towards taking it to computers. Workshop will be an interactive one.
Efforts will be made to publish the report of this workshop in Ministry of IT, Govt of India's journal vishwabharat@tdil. The report will also be featured on C-DAC Mumbai's website. It is hoped that the workshop will pave a way to many tangible projects supported by Central Govt, State Government and other stakeholders.
