Reinventing Education Portal

Education (RE) Portal India is a part of the mission to reinvent education across the globe using E-Learning and its prospects. RE program aims at researching new methods of education that will enable teachers to share their content and students to gain knowledge more quickly and efficiently in a collaborative manner. At the end of RE program India, it is envisaged to have the current classroom model transformed into a new genre in which the learning will go beyond the four walls of a classroom with a student led learning model and the teacher serving as a facilitator.

The Indian component of RE program is a collaborative effort of CDAC Mumbai and IBM India to focus on professional development of teachers in middle and secondary schools of AP and TN states of India, by integration of ICT into the Teaching Learning Process (TLP).
