Subjective Evaluation Framework (SEF)
What is SEF?
SEF is an online tool that tackles your test requirements with friendly interfaces. SEF is an open-source, web-based system to prepare, conduct and evaluate examinations consisting of descriptive or subjective type questions. It is useful tool for educational organizations conducting exams that consist of descriptive type questions or a mix of descriptive and objective questions. Many time and resource consuming tasks involved in managing and conducting exams can be made easy & online using SEF.
What can you do easily?
- Create and reuse paper patterns
- Maintain a question bank
- Create question papers using existing paper patterns and
- Schedule an exam and assign students & examiners to it
- Conduct exams online
- Examine papers online (manually)

Salient features of SEF
- Support for different type of questions - comprehension, descriptive, match the following and objective. Objective type questions are automatically evaluated by the system
- Papers can be examined - student wise or question wise
- Graphical representation of the overall results of your tests

Useful statistics in the question paper/answer sheet such as
(i) For students - No of questions completed/partially completed/not completed
(ii) For Faculty - No of questions checked/not checked - "Auto-Save" option available to students and examiners
